*Hans Sanda: On 1/4/1945 I was ordered from the Bordland, which 
had served as target ship for the 24th U-FI., to this boat as 
additional WO.The commander was then OL Wicke. OL Raabe took 
over the boat from him in February 1945. On account of shortage 
of space on board I was briefly sent to the Oranjefontein, with 
which we, along with the flotilla, brought refugees from Gotenhafen 
to Hamburg.....
